Okay first of all how big is your tank?

Secondly, frogs don't eat algae, they may eat un-eaten food, and most need land, unless your going with ADF's or ACF ( ACF's are a bad idea), crabs will also not eat algae, again they will eat detirius, pretty much all aquaria crabs:
1) Need Brackish water
2) Will eat small slow or sleeping fish, if they can get their claws on them
3) Need an area of dry land so they can get air

So crabs are better for species tanks, and some brackish set-ups.

In your tank shrimps are no good, because your loaches will make quick meals out of them. Same as snails, unless their fairly large. So I think your best bet would be Otos, a pleco, or SAEs.

Also, on a side not about your tank stockings.

My Tank Listing

2 Opaline Gourami's
1 Xray Tetra
1 Albino Paradise Fish
3 Swordtail(pineapple)All Male
1 Goldenwonder Panchax
1 Two Spot Catfish
1 German Blue Rams
1 Green Tiger Loach
1 Gold Spot Plec
2 Juilli Cory's
1 Skunk Botia
2 Dwarf Neon Rainbows
1 Pearl Danio
1 Zebra Danio's

You'll need :
5(or more) more X-ray tetras
1 ( maybe) German blue ram
Maybe some more tiger/skunk loaches, since all loaches like to be in groups.
Above is the same for the Juilli cories, as they will be more active with more fish.
1 or 2 dwarf neon rainbows
and atleast 5 more for both the zebra and pearl danios.

Also again what is the size of your tank, because unless its fairly large, you seem to be over stocked.

pleco will keep a tank so clean youl need to buy algae tabs to keep him alive
