My friend is away for a month and asked me to house his guppies in his absence. I may not return them.
I hope you have them long enough to snag some fry . Those are nice guppies .There are females. Good idea
That’s not going to be a problem. One female is definitely pregnant.I hope you have them long enough to snag some fry . Those are nice guppies .
Do you need a pin to pop her ?That’s not going to be a problem. One female is definitely pregnant.
Yes indeed.Do you need a pin to pop her ?
I no longer keep guppies either nor do i keep killies but i have some colourful serpae and a few less colourful rosy loach in the pink/red spectrum. Also one of the species of kribs i have will have some lovely red fins. You do like your red and orange fish!
I no longer keep guppies, but with my killies, I love watching the transition from plain little fry into colourful adults. Not only would keeping fry let you keep a nice fancy guppy tanks, but you'd get that fun. Guppy fry vary, and it's fun to see what you get.
Yes, I do love my colors. Actually my favorite color is blue. I do have a dwarf blue gourami. I guess bright colors help my depressive personality. But I am equally drawn to body shape, small stature, and interesting behavior. When I am creating a new tank, I try to fill these criteria. I agree with you that watching a fry blossom into a colorful adult is a sight to behold. It reminds me of watching a tulip grow from a knob into a beautiful, colorful and pleasing shape. You do like your red and orange fish!

I think a good fishkeeper realizes quickly this is a lot like growing flowers. You can buy cut flowers for instant gratification, but it's fun to grow your own even if it takes a seaso, or in some cases, a year to see the full flowering.Yes, I do love my colors.
