Ideas For 30Ltr Stocking

no, it wouldn't be overstocked James, Lampeyes max out @ 3cms. They also produce about as much waste as an ant.

On another thread the OP has stated she is going to have a group of cories, shrimp, and a snail. I think this and 10 lampeyes in a 30 litre tank would be too much. Not for waste issues but space in regards to swimming area.

in my experience of keeping lampeyes, ten would be ample for a 30 ltr set up. If we are thinking swim space then you wouldn't put anything other than a Betta in a 30 ltr set up.

Also, what about 6 male endlers, they go alright in a 30 ltr as well.

I understand the lampeyes are very small and they are best in groups, yes? Then maybe 6 would be more suitable. Maybe you are correct, I just felt that would be quite a lot of fish for a tank that size. 30 lites is very small!

I brought 3 julii corys, neither of the 2 LFS by me had pygmy corys I came home, put them in my 30ltr and the male betta went crazy. So they are now in my 60ltr with the Khulis and betta sorority. I'm going back tomorrow to get 3 more.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I will be redoing the 30ltr, once the male betta is rehomed, I'm so-so with endlers, I saw some blue guppies today that looked nice, what are they like to keep?

Make sure you get only males or females, otherwise you will be overstocked in no time. They breed like crazy!

I shouldn't have a problem with breeding, my corys went into the 60ltr in the end, the male betta wasn't happy with them.

I'll wait till the male us rehomed before stocking the 30ltr.

Would badis badis go in a 30ltr?
