He is stunning, i want....lol

As to what it is,um,,not sure, grrrr...

Reminds me alot of a Green Texas Cichlid, maybe because the stress bars it does not help, if you can get a picture when its out in the open, id like to see

I'm fathomed unless it's a texasxconvict

It is a beauty though...

I have no idea what it is!?

I was looking at pictures of texas, depseys and convict hybrids... polleni cichlids and tilapias... but they all have faces that are much more pointy than yours...

I just dont know..

I'll try and get a full shot when it's not being chased away by the oscars

Hmm looks like I'll be waiting patiently them minnnt...

Do they know there stuff then..?

lol thanks Minnt no pressure.

It is a hard one... my first thought is a mutt - which is a Texas (H.Cyanagnotis (spelling) cross Convict with a deformity called fish beak given the pointy nose. But Im not convinced as the spangling is odd but it could be the crossed genes producing uncertain results.

BUT a few more questions - where did you get it from? How much did you pay for it? And what were the shop selling it as? How many were in the tank?

I think there is a chance it could be some kind of Madagascan as Madagascan Cichlids share a lot of similarities with American Cichlids rather than other Africans.
