I need help with choosing Oscars!!!

I want to get another oscar. Firstly and wild oscars actually caught wild or are they bred from a breeder and sent where ever. Also are lemon oscars rare and will it be hard for me to get my hands on. Finally what should i choose, a lemon oscar or a wild oscar. Im doing this because my 6' oscar just died from white spot i think but i think he had some other virus.

Lemon Oscar’s shouldn’t be hard to find. I like the natural look. Most wild fish are either wild caught or F1 or F2 varieties. And I have to ask about your profile picture…do you have any bichirs?

I see wild caught Oscars often. They're more expensive than farmed ones.

You can get wild caught or wild type, and unscrupulous dealers like to blur the lines. After that, you have all the cultivars.

Around here, they are often up for rehoming when people realize how long they should live and how large they get.
