I Made An Order I Just Had To Have One

Come on Trooper, keep on fighting, feller!

Really tricky one to call, Snowflake, as what if Trooper has any disease? Trooper might well become less stressed, but what if he then effectively infects all your discus and any other fish in the same tank?

I know. But I do trust the person I got this fish from. He keeps all wild fish in QT and deworms them. I never heard anyone say their discus from him made there other fish sick. This guy is highly recomened I had heard good things. It's not the shippers faught the Fish fin made a hole in the bag you know. I just saw him swim around the tank again and pick at some left over worms. This guy is killing me. Some times he looks happy then he is back to being werid. I'm thinking I should put him in with the others? I think the reason he is acting weird is that he is wild and never has been alone. OH he is up swimming again. he is stressing me out

Well after thinking it over I had to move him in with his new family. he was doing well swimming more and more as the day went on. He is on the skinny side I need to fatten him up he needs some love.

SO after putting him in the discus tank he really came alive. The others seem to have excepted him no problem since he is the biggest fish in the tank they just want to be his friend. He is swimming around fins out.

He is a little beat up looking I will post some updated photos once I get him looking good. What I learned Don't keep wild discus alone.

He's going to be a beauty once he heals up!

Is he looking less drunk in the new tank with his new companions?

yeah he is like a new fish. swimming perfectly fin and staying up right.

Well now he is still now he is back to staying in one place. I gave him some blood worms and he eat 2 . I almost think I should just add him in with the others because he must be stressed being alone. Since I know now that he can swim.

great to see such a difference , glad he came through. just be sure to keep that water extra clen while his side heals up and he should be just fine . :good:

So lovely to see the pic of him swimming around with the others :good:

Oh wow, fantasitic news :) Can't wait to see him fully fit and looking smart :p

He is still not eatting but swim around. I'm treating for parasites now that seems to be helping. They are not out of the woods yet.

out of interest what have you tried feeding him on?

Frozen blood worms, beefheart brine shrimp mix, discus pellets and flakes.
