I have a female veiltail, and she's quite hyper. She races around the tank and almost always is on the move. She will have a long burst of energy (5-20 minutes) and then rest for about 30 seconds. I got her 3 weeks ago. The reason that I'm sort of worried is that My friend has a betta who just kind of sits around. He's four years old, and still doing well. Is it normal for a betta to be so hyper? Also, I'm hoping to get a snail, what type would be compatible? I don't have any algae, though, but can I still have one?
