What's new

How’s the weather?

July 4th??? But I didn't know they had something in Canada around this time as well...
Maybe they're celebrating their freedom from those tyrannical* Brits, as well?

*Just kidding!

Idk... It's possible but I didn't know they also won on July 4th

The weather is currently extracting the wee wee

I could happily go hug an iceberg in Iceland quite frankly

(And I shall believe it when I see if on Friday)

What's the most snow you've ever gotten?
The most snow in recent years was 2010

We had around 5ft deep that lasted 7 weeks where I am

But for a real winter I guess it would be the winter of 1963...the worst snowfall on record at the time (and oddly when I was conceived)

I moved north to get "proper snow"...the fist year here, the island on the south coast where I moved from got alot more snow than I did. Typical.

I remember when 25° was a hot summer's day in England, seems like every heat wave is setting new records.
1976 was warmer than this and it was for a much longer length of time...not just spirts of a few days at high temps, it was the entire summer....when the moment you walked out the front door you got covered head to foot in ladybirds, could walk across every resevoir.....my dad had a yellow car that turned red/black thanks to ladybirds and my poor brother in law was first covered in seagull poo then ladybirds, he looked like a bun with icing and sprinkles on top
