Hello everybody. I've been lurking as a guest for a few months, learning from all you helpful people, reading old posts and just getting into aquariums as a hobby. Here is my current setup. Theres quite a few pictures of my Blue Rams because they're just so pretty.
The original goal with this tank was to get a few easy fish/plants and jump in with both feet, I started out with just the fish and after a few months worked my way into the small collection below. My new goal for this tank is to further the growth of the plants and create a beautiful aquascape. I'd like to expand this community with 6 more Tetras possibly of another breed and 3 Chain Loaches or something similar.
Fish: 6 Black Neon Tetras, 1 Albino Bistlenose Plecostomus, 2 German Blue Ram Cyclids
Plants: Vallisneria Spiralis (back left corner), Red Ludwigia (mid/front left), Amazon Sword (everywhere...right), Java Fern (front/mid, tied to driftwood), Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis (front/mid, everywhere), and a moss ball....
Hardware: 20Gal Tank, Marineland LED Aquarium Hood (rated at 990 LUX) Fluval Pressurized CO2 88 Kit with Fluval CO2 Indicator Kit, Fluval 306 Canister Filter, Fluval Sea CP2 (425GPH) Powerhead, Rena Air 100 into an Air Stone
