i believe it means they need there food added as they dont feed on light

something bad happend today.
we have to go to a #105### camping trip in the caravan in kent. so my dad said that i should test the automatic feed thing. so i tested it today put a load of food in on the lowest setting (a setting to control the amount of food that goes out) and because its a crapy cheap one you put the batterys in and you are off. so i put the batterys in and then all the food fell in the tank i netted some of it out. and i also siphoned most of it out into a bucket but i had to pour most of the water back in. so i did that making sure i dont let any of the food back in. i did a water chage (basicly pour a load of salted ro water in the tank) i didnt have time because we are going on monday on holyday so if i come back and all my stock is dead i will never go on a #105### holday in a caravan. basicly it involes meand my dad to do everything. and my mum and sister sit on the butt doing nothing. my mum goes "harry take the rubbish out. harry empty the waste master, harry can you check the aqua roll,harry can you go wash up,harry this and harry that" so i hope my £260-£300 of stock dont die from some spike

My 7 yr old som Harry is the joey in our house gets everything and puts everything away. Can;t wait till hes old enough to make a cuppa!!!

joking aside I hope it all works out ok for you nothing worse than going away and worrying if things are ok at home

we are not going on holiday any more so im staying at my nans with my sis plus some of my cousins. so today if i get there early enough me and my cousin colan are going to the skate park. and then the same monday. Every thing seems fine but i think i need to do a water chage but i have no salty ro water

every thing is fine but i did get a scard after my dart fish didnt come out for ages and my cleaner shrimp was trying to get into the cave it lives in i did think that it was dead under there and my shrimp was trying to eat it. but its fine. my nitrate 10. i noticed that my macro algea was being eaten in my sump so i had a look and there was a crab it was a good crab(well would be if it was in the main tank) so a courght it and put it in my tank so i hope thats the thing that eating algea.
