To be honest m8 idk 
...but from what I've heard they are quite prolific especially if conditioned (on quality/live food) and good water conditions....

If you get a nice looking male and two females (which are usually pregnant) and then you will have loads of babies.
Do you have seperate tanks for rearing fry or putting mum in when she is ready to drop? always handy when you have loads of babies.
Platies are better at giving better off spring rather than guppies as guppies are usually weaker becoz of genetics being inbred giving you poorly quality off spring.
Could have 2 female platies and 1 male platy
ALWAYS KEEP IT 2 FEMALES TO 1 MALE
