Got 18 Guppies Yesterday & 5 Are Dead Today 3 Looking Very Ill Wha

how many times should i be feeding my fish ????
i feed 2 times a day

how much food should i be giving them
i think i give to much
number of times is less important than how much they get all in all. 3-4 tropical flakes PER DAY should be enough to keep a grown-up guppy going, whether you want to serve that in one helping or divide it into two or three.

when my fish get healthly how many times a month should i clearn them out ( water charge)

Once your tank is settled a water change of 20-25 % once a week will probably be enough, though if you are heavily stocked, and with a heavy waste producer like a pleco, you might be looking at twice a week.

   i was doing it sooooooooooooooooo wrong
i was over over feeding & nt enough water charger

You can put 2 females in a net as they probably won't disturb eachother becuse of the birth.
ok

:)

i am thinking of getting a other tank for the fry & will be looking to my fish shop

what size should the tank be
does it matter about the sharpe
do i need a pleco in the tank

would the fish hide in this tank /swim coz it only them in it
how many time would i water charge the tank
would the tank be planted heavily

just a few some qs   ;)

if i only fed 1 a day should it be in the morning or night

what size should the tank be
Umm... 7g is a good size, or 5g if not. Thats about... 12" long and 6" high and wide.

does it matter about the sharpe
Shape? Not really, but get rectangular as it has a bigger surface area

do i need a pleco in the tank
You never need a pleco, they poduce far too much waste to make up for eating algae. And get too big, of course.

how many time would i water charge the tank
Well, you'd have to get a sponge filter (powered by an airpump) for it and ypu'd also need to do a fishless cycle on it, but after thats done, 10% every few days should be enough to keep it clean.

would the tank be planted heavily
Yes, the more plants it has, the bettter for cover, water cleanliness etc.

so should i get a net put the felmale fish in & after they have there frys will move the fry to the tank

how to i move the fry

so when i get a new tank i put the felmales in the tank ( only the 1 which are having badies ) than when they have them moved them back to the tank . just to check  :look:

If possible, do not move the mother straight back into the community tank after birth. This will cause uneccassry stress to the mother as the males will immediately start pursueing her again. Try to leave her in the birthing tank for 24-48 hours after, to let her relax. :)

just to make it clear, you should NEVER put a female in a breeders net. It will stress her out, she could abort fry, or even die. I would recomend having the female give birth in the tank, then move the fry into the net with something like a cup (be very careful not to squish them). You might eventually need to put the fry into a seperate tank as they get older, so I'd say to get another filter, put it in the tank you already have(along with your filter now), and then when you feel they need to be moved put the filter into a new tank and then you can move the fish. This gives the new filter plenty of time to cycle and get the beneficial bacteria it needs to help the new fish survive. If you need more help on the fry subject, post questions about it in the livebearers section and you'll get tons of replies. ;)

so i am going today to get a net & put in a cup & than caught the fry & put them in there
is that right
just to check :look:
& leave the felmales alone
