I've put "experimental" as there are always risks with feeding fish something unusual.

Based on the fact my sisters rabbits used to go mad for ribwort Plantain (not to be confused with Plantain Bananas)
I found some Giant Plantain (there are over 200 varieties) and put it in my tanks instead of lettuce.

It's one of those herbs that says it cures everything, rids the body of toxins, heals, etc etc. One reference also says it contains tannins, although I'm not sure how much if it tastes so good.

I must say that this giant type was too tough for my Barbs to eat, but the Lemon Severums like it and are punching holes through it. The clown loaches which do not eat any vegetable or plants (in my setup),
can't stay away from it, even though they are small and mouths to small to eat it. They seem to have a strange attraction to it.

Tried guava with mine. Same type of reaction. my plec couldnt get enough. Guava is ine of the "miracle plants" along with plantain
