just wanting too know what type of fish this is if possible please

First thoughts are that it's some form of central american cichlid, but after that my knowledge ends as I've never kept them.

yeah i can put some up, i asked in a shop earlier and he said it looks like a blue/green ram

Not imo mate... nothing like one. More of an Aequidens i thought? Wills will know.

Now I've looked them up I've discovered that Aequidens are South, not Central American. It's amazing how long I thought that for.

Ignore my previous comment, I was considering it closest to a Port Acara, but don't know them well enough to ID positively, and for some reason had them out of region in my head.

Yup, I reckon Port Acara, definitely not a ram of any description.

It looks like some kind of Tilapia in the last picture but other than that Im not really sure - maybe tilapia mariae the top picture looks like a True Parrot Cichlid though - both these fish get much larger than the rams so be prepared.

theres a few other fish in the tank ive never seen before i think the person i bought the set up off just chucked anything and everything in the tank lol
