Here is the cover of that book, I have to say it is useful and quite easy to navigate. ( as opposed to the Red one A-Z of Tropical fish.....)

That 1908 one doesn't but the one by Bateman does have a similar suggestion.
Whenever I pass a second hand book shop I always keep an eye out for something useful or interesting.
