Eventful few days

I had a spare 2 foot tank so I decided I'd like to breed rams.

Wednesday - Set tank up (mature filter so no need to cycle)
Sunday - Bought pair of rams (could tell looking at them in shop that that they were ready to spawn)
Monday - put in some pencil fish as dithers
Tuesday - Rams Spawned
Thursday - Eggs hatched
Friday - Rams eat fry (despite the fact they have been gorging on live food all week, ungrateful little gits)

That happens frequently from what I understand on the first spawn. It takes a while before they figure out what they are doing.

I had to laugh at the last line.
sure was an eventful week.
They'll figure it out...like mentioned above, I've also heard this can happen to their first brood.
