Speedy gonzales on the replies haha, I guess I would say be careful as you'd only need to put like 0.05ml of the ammonia solution in. Perhaps flake food would help more, I'm not entirely sure. However I would say having the minimum amount of water required would stop the royal mail shafting us.

When shipping, be sure to include plenty of air space in the bag. The bacteria need oxygen to survive but really don't need much ammonia to stay healthy long enough for mailing. The small pinch of fish food would provide plenty.

I will repeat my request for mature media, maybe there is someone who can be kind enough. My struggle to cycle my tank started in March.. I have contacted just about everyone on the mature media list and only one person replied (unfortunately he has a marine tank).
