Does This Look Like A Good Filter?

i am getting some money this weekend so i might be ordering it

As I mentioned above, I got the APS one and have it running on my 180 litre with no problems, keeps my water stats at what they should be and keeps my water crystal clear.

I have the all pond solutions filter on my 250 litre tank home to my 4 red belly piranhas and its excellent. Very very good at a bargain price. I have the 2000 model and I love it. Very quiet and does the job perfectly even with messy piranhas. Keeps my water crystal clear and picks up any excess food etc with ease. Don't go spending silly amounts of money on the more expensive filters, ( unless you want to of course ) the all pond solution with undoubtabley exceed your expectations as it definitely did mine

I've got the exact model you just posted running on my 2ft 54L tank. There are no instructions included but there is a diagram on the back that is sort of followable... The hardest part is priming - I pumped away for an hour and it wouldn't suck the water back through. Ended up lifting the lid stupidly and water sucked out of the tank and covered my carpet . Quickly removed the inlet pipe, put the lid back on, replaced the pipe and it did it first go, plugged it in and hasn't stopped since... probably the way I set it up though, it was my first external.. Very quiet, can't hear it at all. Would have to say the 1000lph is a bit of a lie, with the media included (minus the carbon - chuck it away) it is more like half that...
