Dithers

ive asked this ages ago and i decided on giant dainos but i saw them in real life after searching for them for ages but there to dull for me i saw some red line torpedo barbs but they where 15 quid a fish so i was wondering is there any colourful shoal dithers that i could get for a 4ft tank with jd, con ? cheers p.s not to into rainbows either please help

I have red line torpedo (Denisonii) barbs in my cichlid community tank and can say they are well worth the money, you should be able to pick them up for around £10 each, they grow quite fast and get upto 6 inches long and require to be in a shoal 6+ . IMO they will be the best £60 you will spend and are a VERY active shoaling fish which compete well with cichlids for food.

hey ye they do look amazing but im a student so i dont have that much to spend and would feel bad buying the 2 at a time. plus would a 4ft 55ukg be big enough when 6 are full size

I think the denisons would be like a feature fish in a 55. How about Auralis barbs? Or Oddesa barbs?

i like the oddesa barbs ill keep an eye out for them any other ideas? i like tiger barbs but i heard they can be nippers ?

hey i have now got the Odessa barbs but after 3 days one has been eaten so i was wondering what dither/shoaling fish i could have i have convicts and jewels and JD soon. p.s dont like the idea of giant dainos i want colourful ones cheers.
