Depends on dimensions/gallonage. Could you list them? :)

PS, that's a steal.

You'll need to keep a minimum of six discus of there will be trouble in your tank. If your buying small they will be fine until they grow. Depends what other fish you have in. I had six discus in my 5 foot (18 inches deep and high)). THey were find, but wouldn't have gone much smaller....

If your thoughtful about the decor and tank mates i think you could get off with it fine. Give lots of hiding places, but try not to crowd the tank. Plants work well - amazon swords etc.

The only is the girlfriend said if I get this one I have to get rid of my old tank :-(

Was thinking this 4foot some discus.. pleco or 2 and some tetra's???

height is a big consideration with discus they need to be able to swim in all water levels.
tetras are a good mix as in the wild they use this as an indicator of the safety from predators
remember with discus the water stats have to be spot on they are very fussy fish and dont do well with poor water quality water changes every few days for perfect conditions some say twice a day (extreme i think)they do well at 30celcius as it helps respiration so tank mates and plants must be considered.
hope this helps
