I've been using the Google search engine AI to plan my next tank. It is incredibly helpful on filtration, water chemistry, gravel choice and even fish stocking. I put in a list of fish I wanted to use and it caught a preferred temperature range mismatch and steered me to a different type of cory. It's discussion-like format is easy to understand, and you can bookmark the discussions for later reference. It's asked questions, and then intelligently made suggestions, even down to specific products.
I'm planning a larger tank because I got a larger gourami species than I wanted and need to move him to a new tank. The AI even estimated how long it will take him to grow from current 2" to 3" size, so I have a time frame of when to do this tank build. I plan to use a UGF with a fiberglass window screen sheet over the plenum, and it steered me to 1-2 mm river gravel which would be too small without the screen then made a specific brand recommendation safe for the Corys. It guided me to using two titanium Bulk Reef Supply 100W heating elements with an Inkbird 306A controller.
In short, for these types of topics it's been as good as a forum for advice, IMO. If I got into some exotic fish question I'd come here, but for my tank build project I have not felt the need to ask anything, here. I think it's fantastic.
Perfect? Nope. Neither is a forum. And I may get competing advice on a forum. Google AI gives me alternate paths and pros/cons. I like it.

I get that people are resistant to it. I got into a discussion about using bare airline tubing vs airstones for air-powered devices in another part of the forum. I reasoned out some of it based on my own experience and research. While engaging AI about another topic I asked if it would critique my reasoning. I was pretty amazed. It does like to butter people up, but it is very sophisticated and thorough.
