What's the general consensus on keeping guppies with danio erythromicron? I love my guppies and love the look of the danios but im worried theyd feel overly shy around the guppies since theyre so active?? :)thanks

hmm i would say the danios are too active, in other words as long as the tank is cycled and big enough it should be fine,  as both are peaceful fish.

thanks :) yeah my tank was cycled i already have 5 male guppies in there for a few weeks now :) im glad i can get the danios though!

danios require a lot of swimming space as they are very active fish.
but they sure are beautiful when the school together.

Erythromicrons are not as active as some danios, they're more closely related to celestial pearl danios & their behaviour is similar, so they don't need long tanks for swimming room.
Try & get more females than males if you can
They are shy fish but if you plant the tank well & give them plenty of hiding spaces they'll feel more secure & you'll see them out & about more, they should be fine with guppies just keep an eye they get enough food as they rarely if ever come to the surface
