Uh, no we don't. Let's get rid of that bit of arrogance right now. Humans are NOT able to destroy the earth, even if we wanted to!! It's billions of years old, and has gone through more than we could ever dish out. Even if we released every single nuclear missile off at once, the die-off would not be even a tenth as great as the one involving the dinosaurs. Many organisms would thrive, and in a couple million years, the variety of life would be back up to speed.

Really, we're not destroying Earth at all. We're just damaging the current conditions and making it harder for some organisms (including ourselves) to survive.

nightlife20: YOU read up . . . it doesn't matter what species, anytime you have a population of larger snails, there's a RISK of serious plant damage.


Anyway, can't sympathize with the da^^ snails; anyone who's been snail-infested by snails they didn't want probably feels the same.
