I had an art explosion a couple of weeks ago where I churned out loads of new work. And now I can't think of anything to draw.
I was thinking about doing free drawing requests if anyone is interested? Gimme some inspirations!

I'm pretty horrible at drawing. What I learned was from a book. Here are a couple of my drawings though:

For anyone that's played the video game "Pikmin". You'll know what this is about.
Pikmin battle scene I drew when I was in grade 6:





I'm actually kind of proud of this Swooping Snitch Bug I drew, considering I was in grade 6 when I drew it. lol

Thanks for creating this topic. It made me take out my sketch book, and now Ima' go draw maybe another Pikmin battle scene... Those are fun to draw... Though I think I lost my touch. (If I ever had a "touch" lol) I can barely draw Pikmin now. lol

Shear grubs have eyes as well idk if you drew them but cant see from the pics

i like the snagrets as well as the snitchbug

one thing though... wheres olimar!

Yeah, I didn't pay much attention to the shear grubs. Remember: I was in grade six when I drew them. Actually, tbh, I've never noticed they had eyes. Looking at a pic now... they do.

And... I would have drawn Olimar, but I remember thinking.. "I want to portray Pikmin in their environment WITHOUT Olimar, Louis, or the President to influence them"

Here's one I did today, of some discus... I used the discus picture on a cover of a book for reference, but I didn't trace it:

those look nice the one on the right is better imo

and since you mentioned the president im guessing its PIKMIN2 right? now that i mention it the fact there are snitch bugs and white and purple pikmin i guess it is

but i have to ask, what is up with the green pikmin??

i have some pikmin drawings areound here somewhere...

lol Thanks. I have to agree - the one on the right is better. The left one.. Well, I was using the right one as reference, and I had to reverse it basically, so I had trouble doing that. That's why I'm bad a drawing - I have trouble drawing what I envision.

And yeah, it is Pikmin 2.
I drew green Pikmin because when I was younger, my brother and I were going to make "Pikmin 3" (lol), and we were going to make green Pikmin, which had tails.

LOL me and my brother (mostly me) had the same idea, to make pikmin 3 wemad new creatures and level design but couldnt figure out a plot, or a new pikmin to make, we thought introducing the parasitic pikmin the make the bulbmins into actual pikmin and then the player can infect animals but we thought it would make the game too easy or a PITA if you killed a creature you needed.

And we made these parasitic mushroom things that would turn your Pikmin against you. Or are those already in the first game?

lol first game, not too many know about it since its only one and once you kill it its gone for good.

those are some great drawings. i dont pretend to be able to draw. i cant draw a straight line with a ruler im envious of folks with drawing abilities.
