Can Any Plant Be Grown Emerged

My red ludwigia repens has emerged and i wondered if i should leave it or not

I left mine and it was about 3 inches out of the top of my tank and seemed happy enough.

Most plants could be grow emerged. The only plants that can't , are plants that when they reach the top they slide across the top of the water like a val

Leave it if you like it, but keep in mind it will get burned if it grows too close to the lights. You probably want to trim before it gets to that point.
