Probably went back in, or you would see redness and inflammation and still pale colors. Yay! It's not uncommon for it to go back in, and there shouldn't be any issues (aside from it happening again) unless the tissue went necrotic and is infected, but if the water was kept clean you should be fine

I agree with @JuiceBox52 about it going back in. If another fish bit it off, or it got caught and ripped off, the fish would be dead by now.

Oh gosh. Periwinkle’s guts went back in and now she’s giving birth. She was contorted in a U shape and I went in to look closer and this little tiny black projectile just came shooting out. I’ve never actually seen a guppy give birth before. I was shook.

Yay! Just hope that birthing her fry doesn't cause another prolapse. Congrats on the babies
