i want to divide my 54 litre tank up into 4 sections so each betta will have 4 gallons, i font want to use silicone and was thinking of dividing (looking down on tank) vertically and horizontally so i get 4 sections, is there anyway of doing this without silicone, as my tank has been running for a year and is near enough empty as ive sold a few fish. and im just drawing up a list of feasible options.

i dont know where to start so please help!

thanks truck

maybe if you get the slide in dividers (see Modaz on the betta forum) and divide in half, but then ise 2 more dividers lengthways and silicone the other divers onto the one already in place?

As just mentioned you could put one in there that fit just right and slide then in there. Would the dividers be clear. The reason I ask is the fish would probably spend most of there time flaring at one another and spend most of there time being stressed out.

To divide into 4 sections with a big X shaped set of dividers, think about whether you could cut down halfway from the top on a piece and up halfway from the bottom on the other piece and then slip the cuts into each other. It will hold the 2 pieces of divider together fairly well but I'm not sure how you would get a seal along the tank walls.
