Ya I meant as in like starting with it as a baby I think this one will be the biggest in my tank for sure. I just have a senegul and an albino senegul. Who surprisingly haven’t batted an eye at any of my skirt tetras or sword tails , I know it’s only a matter of time tho

you would think they would be chowing all the time, but if I put 10 Rosy Minnows in the tank... when they are not used to get predated on, the Bichir catches 4-5 the 1st day, 2-3 the next day, 1-2 the next day, then it can take a couple weeks, even the minnows learn what the Bichir is, & stay away from it... mine is in fine aquarium gravel, & buries him self in the substrate, with just it's nose sticking out, the minnow must be in just the right position, before the bichir pounces...
