I have a new 54ltr aquarium & would like carbd it has out of water area's, sand & some small grass plants.
What crab?

well in my 10 gallon i have it half filled with lots of slate and sand bottom with 4 red crabs in, i reakon that answers your question!!

don't get rainbow crabs though.

i am actually getting one for a 20Long tomorrow. (he will be all by himself)

in a 54ltr tank that isno way near what a rainbow crab will need when fully grown.

rainbows grow up to 1ft across and a 20g long won't even do for one fully grown- so hpe you have plans, you would be looking at more like a wide 4ft tank and will HAVE to have out of water areas.

i dont think we are talking about the same rainbow crab. there are a few different species of them. mine will get no bigger than 6 inches from leg to leg.

i don't think we are then, the ones my lFS had in the shop were that kind of size!!
