An Update :)

A quick update on my tank, its not the final product, mainly because that internal filter on the right will be removed, and no doubt will add/remove various pieces

Looking good Matt. I think some foreground plants would compliment the tank massively e.g. Eleocharis parvula or hemianthus callitrichoides both available at MA

The Varigated plant is non aquatic, its is a house plant i believe. otherwise looks good

Yes, the variegated plant is a species of Dracaena I believe, and won't live for long underwater.

I might have been tempted to remove the rock thats got the bubbles coming up through it (looks a little out of place) and build a nice little mountain out of polished stones instead, so bubbles come out all over the place. Although saying that im not really a fan of bubbles in tanks anyway but each to their own.

As mentioned some smaller foreground or carpetting plants would look good too, maybe some dwarf hairgrass. MA usually have a tonne of it. Which one do you go to out of interest? The Wheatley one?

I use the wheatley one for fish mainly, but i'm a bit of a sad person and like to spend my sundays going to garden centres and finding different fish shops
