Hello all,

I have a 10-gallon tank with danios and live plants (which only three one-inch bristlenose cories). What is the

amount of water flow?

I've looked the question up on the internet and most sites say that it depends on the fish species. I've also heard that Danios came from streams with stronger currents so they might need a stronger flow.

There are no bogwoods or whatsoever in my tank. There's only the substrate, plants, and fish. The main filter is at the top of the tank (the second one not used yet) and 85% or so of the plants are less than or equal to half the height of the tank. There are also no air pumps or air stones.

As a second part of the question, if I am to place a secondary filter, where should I place it? Diagonal or adjacent of wherever to the main filter?

Danios shouldn't be kept in a 10g tank. They are active swimmers and need a lot of room. Also, all corydoras species need to be kept in groups of 6 or more.

Do you have another tank you could move them to?
