Alternative To Superfish Pump?

Has anyone got experience wit the Superfish 2 pump? Bought one today for my small tank to go with a air stone bar, mainly for my pleco really. Anyway it's rather noisy. Not sure if it's because it's cheap build or whether this is normal for a pump. It's for powering a 6" stone bar, and only a 2 ft tank. Any alternative that will definitely be quieter?

I have an old rena air ( i doubt the new ones are anything more than a different shell, same insides) and its silent if you put it on a piece of carpet.

Someone else on here strung theirs from the top of one of their cupboards under the tank.

You might also want to try putting a sponge or mouse pad under it to reduce the vibrations.

Thanks. It's probably me then. It's loud even when suspended. I think it might also be the air stone touching the glass. Oh well... definitely pay a bit more next time. Any recommendation?
