Agressive Or Community?

you should get the discus. they are so awesome looking. unfortunately they are EXPENSIVE!!!
the community tank would be cool too because its a lot less hectic.
when i had my aggressive tank it was nothing but a hassle, but in a monster tank it probably would be a problem seeing that would have plenty of room.

If it were me starting all over again, I would still have Central American Cichlids. They can be aggressive, but also fun to keep in the right size tank and company.

If you are getting a smallish tank <150 go for community then between that and maybe 280 ish go for aggressive more than that a community will look AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

depending on the species. you will need a 6' tank or larger for a single one
also, they are not community fish
