Advice On Disinfecting Tank To Start Up Again

Hiya after weeks of frustration and money and meds and losing all but 4 fish to some disease/diseases ive decided to move my fish to a smaller tank and start the process all over again gonna change gravel filter sponges etc but want to know how to clean out the tank, plastic plants, filter housing and other bits so no nasties are left behind. I know this means ill have to cycle my tank all over again and start from scratch but its the only way. Any advice would greatly be appriciated many thanks Dai.

Hi Dai, sorry to hear about your misfortune. I disinfect my tanks with a low chloride solution. This works very well, just make sure you rinse well after the cleaning to get rid of any possible chloride residues.
