Nice pics S2SWB,do you have any problems with the barbs nipping the angels fins? As I have one 3" angel and three large silver dollars but need some mid swimmers as I have a five sided tank with 18" deep water all my cats are on the bottom then the other four are mid and top.Do your kribs hide a lot.At present got all my fish in a 2' square plastic planter tub (due to leaking old tank) complete with heater pump etc, cannot see much of them awaiting my new tank being built 4-6 weeks.

TC

nice additions

the tiger plec is lovely

I hope you had a good look at the banjos cos thats the last you;ll see of them ha ha

just one thing the clown plec looks like it hasa hollow belly, may just be the photo angle but thats the main problem with new plecs from the shops. Stick some courgette in there for it and get it fed up. Clwon plecs are pretty active so once settled should eat catfish pellets etc and veg

Heh, yes - had heard that said about Banjos! Mine spent most of the evening sitting under some undergrowth staring at me!

I thought the same about the Clown as well..lots of food coming his way this morning.

Absolutely fantastic fish and the photography is excellent my sincerest compliments thank you for sharing them with us :good:

Regards onebto.

Thank you for the lovely words :) I'm glad you like my fish and photos.

I'm afraid I have gone a bit Plec mad and have just purchased another three: a nice, large Rusty and two Albinos :good: They're settling in very well as I type this.

Thought I would add a couple of pictures of our tanks: the 6ft ad 4ft...

First off, the 6 foot:

And then the 4ft (which needs to be re-scaped soon!):

Also...is there any way the title of this thread can be changed??

Fantastic pictures :hyper: !!! Love all the plants in the 6 footer, dumb question but what type of plant are the tall slim ones growing in big tall bunches n it called? I think i have the same stuff growing in my swordtail fry tank and had no idea it could grow so large.

I wish i could take pictures as good as you do, whenever i try to take pictures of my fish or tanks the water either looks really dark or the fish look blurry.

wow the top tank with deinsoni barb and clown loach looks amazing

the rusty plec is a beauty I would love one, the albino plec looks really skinny needs feeding up

Tokis-Phoenix - They are Valis, as far as I know! Believe it or not, they started of at about 5 - 6" tall and have never really been "fed" any fertilisers or anything. They have grown madly for about 1 1/2 years now to reach that size and they're forming new plants every day.

The longest plant at the moment measures over 9ft long!

What camera do you use for taking your photos?

simonas - Thank you :) We have 6 Denison Barbs and 7 Clown Loach in there. The largest Clowns are around 10" at the moment. I do love Rustys. And agreed, the pair of Albinos were both skinny when I got them. They're being fed up on cucumber, wafers and various other bits.

Really nice tanks I love them both. Interesting fish as well keep up the good work!

Thank you :)

There's still some work to be done on the 4ft tank, as I want to change the substrate etc, but on the whole - they're both looking quite nice at the moment and the fish are all happy as larry!

Nawww I just noticed your baby bala sharks! I had 2 of those that size. Unfortunately one died, however I now have a 25cm one galavanting around a 4x2x2 tank! They grow so darn quick!

I think we have 5 Balas in the 6ft. One came with it (about 4 - 5 inches) and the rest are about 3.5 inches at the moment :)

They're great fun and can't wait for them to be the size of yours!
