I currently have a 70l tank. I have one male Molly and 6 corydora. Along with snails and a lot of shrimps!

I want to keep my stock low but I am worried my male molly my be lonely/ unhappy alone.

I had females in the past but they kept breeding and I had to make frequent visits back to the pet shop to keep stock within what was healthy for the tank.

Should I get another few males/ I dont want fighting but I also want him happy! Or is there another small fish that could work?

He's probably bored, and may soon try to mate with the Corydoras. But I doubt he's lonely is the sweet and innocent way - he is looking for females, and would hate another male in there. The tank is too small, and with a male, he is going to try for dominance, or murder.

A single molly will do just fine... But of course, having one or more friends of the same species will always be appreciated. The only thing that should be added to this reply is, is when it's a male molly, he may try to mate with another type of fish which could lead to stress to these fish. A female molly won't do that.
