A Few Of My Fish...

I think we have 5 Balas in the 6ft. One came with it (about 4 - 5 inches) and the rest are about 3.5 inches at the moment :)

They're great fun and can't wait for them to be the size of yours!

Mine is a psychopath. He has jumped out of the tank numerous times (even though there are only 1 inch gaps).
He has cheated death so many times, in fact once I pronounced him dead for he wasn't breathing on the floor... however after putting him back in the tank and watching him float upside down a while, he started jerking about. Next morning he was swimming around like nothing had happened. He is a character but I really need to get rid of him he is too big for my tank and is disturbing all my other fish unfortunately.

He sounds like a nutter! What a great fish :)

It's amazing what they can survive - even when it is their own fault in the first place.

Ours, as of yet, have made no bids for freedom and seem quite contented with the idea of just swimming around mid- tank all day.

The tank has had a bit of a re-jig. Most of the Gouramis are now rehomed, leaving just the Kissing Gourmi, Honey and 3 Male Dwarf Gourami.

All of the Plecs are doing very well - the Albinos are now not looking as skinny as they did when they came from the LFS.

I bought a lovely pair of Angels the other day, one (Koi) sadly died but the gorgeous Platinum Angel is doing very well and loves my young Angels.

Thank you :) Glad you like them!

The 6ft was an impulse purchase on eBay...£90 for the tank, light unit, external Eheim filter, fish and loads of other bits :D
