The driftwood is floating at the top. I still need to add the sand and plants. My sponge filters should be here soon.

I decided I will go with option #2 for scaping and will try #1 with my 10 maybe

I recalculated the tank volume and got 45 gallons. Not 42. Yay

My stand! Bad pic, sorry. The tub is my guppy (until I give them away)/ quarantine tank. It will be moved underneath when I get a 20 or 29 gallon to go there next to the 10

I'm fortunate enough that I live in an area with such low ph and gh that I don't have to cycle my tank, so I just placed and order request for my fish! I'm gonna do a pair of betta pugnax in this tank to start with. I may add some loaches and rasboras later on, or 1 or 2 additional pairs. That is yet to be decided.

I might move my crypt over to the new tank. It's still in its pot because when I bought it I wanted it to acclimate to my parameters before messing with the roots. Should i move it to my big one or my 10 gallon which will house betta smaragdina?

The filters came. Much smaller than expected lol. Should have looked at the dimensions. It said 25 gallon so I was gonna use 2. Do you think it's big enough? It's about 4 inches

They're some off brand ones. I got 4 so could use 3 instead of 2. I was gonna use 1 in my 10 and 1 in my quarantine tank but I could switch things up

I think it will be enough filtration for just 2 fish
