I had a couple of questions  regarding zeolite... Im not saying im going to use it, im just courious as to what the anwsers are.

--First, How much ammonia can zeolite absorb before its time to replace it? (tell me a amount in ppm) (Im talking those pre-filled bags you buy for the aquaclear 50 filters?)

--Second, Does Zeolite get exhausted, even if there is/has been no ammonia present in the tank for it to absorb?

--Third, Does Zeolite absorb the non-toxic form of ammonia that is caused from using products like Ammo-Lock?

I would like atleast 2 or 3 peoples opinions to these questions.
Thanks in advanced!

don't know about the other questions but zeolite removes ammonia and ammonium (the non-toxic form)

I doubt anyone will know the answer to the first question. Zeolite is a mineral which is very porous. The amount of ammonia it can absorb probably varies considerably.
