These are all pretty acurate but not spot on (and most not what I paid but what the insurance replacement value is, ie. if I needed to go out and buy the same setup in one go) ................
Grand Total = £2855 GBP ($5006 USD / $5672 CAD / $6717 AUD)
I totalled up the cost of my 12 gallon nanocube setup right before the change over to the aquapod, came out to about $1400 USD, and now that I have upgraded and added more my current system is about $1900 USD
Edit: BTW that Rockpool shrimp rocks, and I really wish that I could get my hands on a chiton like that, I'll bet film algea runs when it sees that thing coming.
Just got back for a really nice trip to my favourite (not so)LFS
Spent about £150 but hopefully i've got some really nice corals. Spent a while aclimatising them but they still won't settle fully for a few days. Here's some pics of how they look now, I may have to change the locations depending on how they react.
Ricordae yuma (Green & Gold):
Ricordae yuma (Pink & Green):
Euphyllia glabrescens (Torch Coral - 6 Heads; 2 Brown + White Tips, 4 Green + White Tips):
Pachyclavularia violacea (Metallic Green Star Polyps):
Red Sea Gorgonian (Orange Stem + Milky Blue Polyps):
Looking great already Aqua! I know how good they looked in th shop so i know that the photos here are nothing compared to what they will look like when they are fully settled
It's just started to open a little and seems to like the 'Marine Snow' & 'Micro-Vert'
It's not that easy to tell from that pic (i'll get one tomorrow) but i've actually threaded the red tree sponge through the star polyps so when they finally decide to open it should look stunning
