Fish Crazy
Hello all, as you may or may not be aware I recently lost my male bristlenose to causes unknown. before he died I notice an odd behaviour I hadnt before. He would sit under a rock or driftwood...but not attached....ie: the mouth was open and he was lying on his back with the rock above him...(does that make sense) at first I just thought he was being lazy and didnt want to suck onto the rock... and didnt think anything of it. But now Ive noticed my female doing the same (yesterday we had an episode where she came out of the tank with a rock but she seemed unscathed from that, so i think thats unrelated)
Does anyone know if this is a natural behaviour? or is this a sign of something very wrong Ive never seen bristlenose just lie there on their back without sucking onto the rock above
