I had them fish a good year and half i'll have you know! Moved them round 3 tanks, moved home... they went through a lot!!

Personally I would lose the Central American HRPs, leaving you with the South American Keyholes, Angels and Bolivians which are all on par in terms of aggression and generally occupy different levels of the tank,

This would also allow you to safely mix in SA dithers such as Rummynose and Cardinals leaving you with an overall SA themed/biotope setup

If you are intent on the HRPs then I would probably go as far as leaving out both the keyholes and Bolivians, These two species are quite timid and shy species and will not thrive in with a pair of HRPs IMO,

I'd also say Angels and HRPs aren't ideal tankmates but doable if the angels are of a good size

Hmmm, I might have to give the HRP's a miss then mint . Don't fancy re-homing the rams, keyholes and angles tbh :\.

I reckon you have enough 'big' fish. A decent school of something like we mentioned, some shrimp? Then get your plants going!

Might have to stick with what I have then (with out the plants fish I mentioned to mint ).

How many tetra would you suggest? I'd like the most I could fit in!

Will get another 10-15 ammano shrimp, I have 8 in there atm
