Looks like we are in for a long winter again; I got the first snow off my car this morning; we've had thick ice for a few weeks but it's rained since then and now it's pretty heavy sleet. Wonderful.

no snow in SW London, just frost on the cars and grass and a beuatiful sunny morning.

lol, funny haw age colours your view. i was thinking that we don't get "proper" winters any-more! they seem so short, and warm,(comparatively) to me. lol.

LOL well we don't get as much snow or 'really' cold as we used to. But last winter was a nightmare :(....our work seems to have it's own weather system as well. I got stuck in the snow in the car park and the nice (supposedly) "charitable" company next to us all watched me struggle in the snow by myself

I work out in the middle of no-where. Funny though, the rest of us struggle in but the boss can't. No snow at the moment. Sunny but cold in the west midlands.

were i live we had thick rain {sleet}
last night they said we are due snow
by tonight or tomorrow

Last winter; I got a bus as far as it would go and walked the lat half hour in the show to get to work and I was greeted with "well if you can get a bus then you shold come in" - we have a lad who lives a 10min walk away who couldn't make it into work.....(he's never walked to work yet). But noooo he gets all the sympathy because he can't get in. Our management live 40+ miles away - they all got in, we have a girl travels over 40miles by public transport - she got in...but no the lazy lad is ok! GRRR

I think it's the same all over. You'll always have one who gets away with murder.

We all wonder what he's done to achieve that status though as he certainly isn't anything special...
