The bipolar state. Take a stab at it.
I'm looking in to getting some Seachem Fluorish. THinking about setting up a planted aquarium very soon, and decided and fertilizer may be pretty darn needy. (BTW If anyone would like to recommend a very good fertilizer for a very first time beginner, feel free!).

Well the only way to get Seachem Flourish for me is to order online. If anybody knows me (i'm in the betta section often) then you'd know I'm not aloud to order online at all. Like, at ALL. Petsmart is the only LFS that actually carries it anyway, and I'd have to order it on line to get it. See the problem? Do you think Petsmart would actually bring it to the store for me, if I asked them later? I probably will pay shipping as well, if they're... greedy. Lol.

Thanks very much~

And I would ask myself, but I can't currently. I'm not in the position to. Frankly, I didn't do the best I could on a test. *ahem*.
Much appreciated :)

From what I've heard, they have a fair bit of discretion in what they order. Try to make a "friend" of someone who works there and see.

You might want to search some of the online sites such as Big Als or Pet Solutions. I have ordered from both and been very satisfied.

You can also order it from Petsmart here. And if they have it in stock, take a copy of that page in and they will match the internet price in the store (unless they've changed their policy in the last year or so).

Loachman, I'm not sure what you're gtting at?
rdd, they apparently don't sell it in stores (it says "store only") so i wouldn't be able to do that. And as I stated in my first post, I'm not aloud to buy online, no matter how amazing it is.

If there's one near you, check at Petco. Also Walmart may have it. And it's possible that a true fish store could get it for you. Main problem with ordering something that they don't regularly stock is that they may make you take the full case.

Well only according to their websites they don't. I'm going to go there this weekend, but I'm probably only going to be able to go to one. Which would you think would have it? I've never completely roamed around petco. WalMart, I'm 80% sure does not have it.

You could always give them a call to see if they have it. Also, check their website to see if they have it available online. If it's not online, it's pretty certain they won't have it in the stores.

Sorry if you've already been asked this, but can you not just have a neighbor or friend order it for you?

rdd - See, this is what I'm asking. Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but their product is online, not set in stores. I was wondering if they would be "nice enough" (or however you wanna say it) to have one shipped to their store so I could pick it up. Like a ship-to-store thing ... I think walmart does something similar to that. Of course, if they charge me crazy, then forget it. Hahah

Mr Fishy - no one asked, lol. I'm not the type close to the neighbors ,heheh. And my friends take zero percent interest in the hobby. Sure I could ask them, but the chance of them doing it incorrectly and not knowing what I really want is... well, you get it, right? Haha.

You could always ask them to bring one in but it's probably not something they can do. Most likely, the warehouse that your local store's inventory comes from is not the same location that supplies the internet store so they wouldn't have it there to ship. I guess they could possibly still get a bottle from the internet warehouse but as you mentioned, shipping could get expensive there as they have to move a single bottle from one warehouse to another and then get it on the truck to the store.

I have actually bought it before a local true fish store. If there are any of those in your area, that would be our best bet to try.

PS: What state do you live in?

I don't know any actual LFS stores besides Petco, Walmart, or Petsmart. The walmart I still have to go to, I don't understand why some of the stuff they sell in stores aren't online, and vice versa. And I live in Texas. I would DEFINITELY love another LFS near me I can access! But I've already looked around (google. Hehe, can't drive anyways) and there didn't seem to be a decent one. But my google skills aren't the best. I'll still ask them, but I expect it to be very expensive I guess. Shame. I really wanted it, haha.
