white spots appear after water change?

hello, 2 days ago i got some platies, and they are very healthy. today after i took out some water and stirred up all the dust for a while, one of the platies seems to have 2 small white spots on her.
i can confirm it was not there yesterday.
i will try to get pictures as soon as i can

how do i identify if it is ich or not?

If its ick then the spots won't stay in the same place. They will move and maybe even disappear.

they are on the tail of the fish, a larger one near the back and a smaller one that is translucent near the bottom

I hopped into another account, and you can see them if you adjust the quality of the video to 720p. it is auto at around 300 p so it might be very unclear.

That is strange, near the middle of the video the fish stays still for a while, that is when yiu can see it…

As you can see the water is very dirty here and therres a lot of particles

Could be two thingsin my view. Ich, or CO2 from the water change. The upper spot does seem too solid for this, admittedly. Keep monitoring it, do not do anything to stress the fish (like chasing it for better photos!), and see if these disappear and if more appear. As the platies were acquired two days ago, it is highly likely they are carrying ich. But, if not stressed and if the tank water is to their liking, this should not develop and they will deal with ich themselves. If it does develop, I would increase the tank water temp to 86F/30C for two weeks. But at the moment this is so minimal I would not bother. Over the years I had many new fish carrying ich, usually I saw the flashing more than spots, and on their own they got over it in the QT tank (which was planted and established for less stress).

should i still wash the filter or add new water? it is making strange noises so tthat means i must wash it but i am worried about the fish.

Water changes--providing the parameters are the same, which means GH, pH and temperature--will not do any harm, but don't go overboard. Clean the filter as needed.

If the fish has excess mucous, the dirt particles can stick to it for a day or two. If longer then it is more likely to be ich and Byron has outlined the treatment.
I would concentrate on clean water through water changes. Additives should be minimal so just use a dechlorinator if necessary.
Add filter floss to the filter if you don't have it already.

after one day, one spot shed off and another one moved to the bottom of the tail.
I do not think it is co2 anymore. it is ich, but her fins are all fanned out and she looks to be happy.

the spots have moved within 24 hours
