White growth on my java moss. I have a 30 gal, light during the day, off at night. Tried an old "Flourish" product we have had for years, could be why but I'm still worried for my fish as they are african cichlids, the mother has gotten very agressive, and they are rubbing their sides on the rocks. Ive put salt in and it hasn't helped, same with pima and melafix. They look fine so I think its the moss. What do?

I'm going to move this to Tropical Discussion.

African cichlids, particularly RIft Valley cichlids, don't usually like plants in their tanks, they normally shred them quickly. It would help if you could post a photo of this white growth.
