i have a bare bottomed aqaurium and i would like to know that which is the best type of aquarium filter? I have not got any live plants and my aquarium if 15 gallon so which will be the best type of aquarium filter for me?

Many of our members recommend Fluval internals for smaller aquariums like your 15 US gallon. The U-series is fancier than the Plus series which of course means its more expensive, but I've seen fewer comments of problems for the U-series than the Plus-series. Aquaclear also makes a good line of HOB (Hang-On-Back (UK term) or Powerfilter (US term)) filters that reach down into the smaller tank sizes. The Aquaclears are liked because the filter box is simple, rectangular and free to be stuffed with whatever media you choose. There are also the smallest of the external cannister filters that could be considered. These would of course come at greater expense and since this is a fry tank and not a display tank, that's probably not warranted.

perhaps, for your tank, a bubble filter?

waterdrop and raptorex thanks for your humble response. Here in the city where i live i dont have the filter which are mentioned by you raptorex. i have sponge filters available here and do u suggest me to put them?

Air driven sponge filters make good biological filters. For a glass bottom breeder that's going to be frequently siphoned this could be fine I'd think. WD

as air driven filter are very popular in my city so i think i will put them in my aquarium. Will that be fine keeping in mind that i will be having molly fries?

Sam, that sounds fine to me. If you want to check even more I would suggest posting in the livebearer forum where there are experts who know the very best details to help raise molly fry and others. oldman47 is one of those experts in my opinion and I think he keeps an eye out over in that forum.
