Today, I rearranged my office, aka my fish room. In the background is my tank with Endler's livebearers, behind the laptop a 60 cm/54 litre soft water aquarium with a female Betta smaragdina, Trichopsis pumila and Pangio cuneovirgata. The small 25 litre aquarium, which is barely visible, contains some Boraras naevus. They are there for breeding and will soon move into the 60 cm aquarium.

Future plans: A new breeding tank and one of my 35 cm cubes will also find a place here.

As you can guess - I work (try to ...) fully remote.

Do you have an offish too? Pictures please!

No but I always wanted to have one. My office is 30km from my home but their water is well water and like liquid rock, the exact opposite of my home water so I could have different fish, and or shrimp.

I have an offish with four of my seven active tanks. There is a 60 gallon Lake Tanganyikan tank, a 29 gallon community livebearer tank, a 20 gallon long tank with a trio of a. cacatuoides and glowlight tetras, and a 10 gallon nano tank with CPDs and Strawberry rasbora.

I did for 10 years...

... empty... ☺️

I was always too busy at work. to fill it, and get it going, and spent too much time there, to go in, on my own time and get it going...

it had a couple plastic fish in it, my employees brought in for me...

Wow - that's a lot of offish!

Easy to maintain and feed ;-)

I have been retired for years. But in my bedroom, which doubles as my office, I am down to only 5 tanks. I used to have 9, but I have downsized. The largest is an in-wall 75 gal., and the smallest is a 5.5 gal. 6 feet up a wall on a shelf built for it. I am down to only two tanks in the bathroom, it used to be 3.

I have a 3 gallon on the desk with chili rasboras and cardinal crystal red shrimp. Then, behind the desk I have a 29 gallon tank that I am completely re-doing at the moment. The little one keeps me sane through the day and if I hit the limit I turn around and stare at the other one.

I used to keep fish tanks in my classrooms--a severely overstocked 10g in one, and a 2 gallon Betta bowl in the other. But since I work in two buildings on opposite ends of town, maintenance was a nightmare so I quit keeping them. If I ever get into a position where I only have one office, I will absolutely have a tank there. Relaxation = productivity, and nothing relaxes me quite like a nice group of fish keeping me company.
