The bloke at MA was searching the tank for a male and female, he said this is a male and female and was 90% sure. He even said if things dont work out down the line keep the recipt and he will swap one for me

Took him 15min to pick two out and catch them

Is it normal for them to be kinda nipping each other? One of the guppies won't leave one of the rams lol keeps hovering right next to it! Can't wait to get rid of the livebearers, should be gone tomorrow!

Will be getting another two of these rams next weekend . What do you feed yours?

Tetra prima, tetra pro colour, frozen bloodworm, daphnia, myosotis etc.

They may take a bit of time to settle in and are probably just establishing who is boss.

Thought so. What about sinking pellets? I'll try them on some flake food or blood worm later tonight. They are rather scared of the biggest angel fish .

Prima sinks really well. Pm monty-2010 for a price on some. Rams are touchy I believe and take a while to settle in... a bit longer than some other. My rainbows had laid eggs within 2 days...

Just seen 100g of the Prima food on eBay for £3.95 inc postage, he does better deals that that? Just PM'ed him.

Could do with more frozen Blood Worm too, only a few cubes left!

Thats the last thing I had yes, they are in blister pack things. I didnt get 5 bloodworm though I had a mixter I'm all out nearly now though.

They're what I have. Usually get all different ones too. Pretty good, and no messing.

Ture, what ones do you get? I'll get a few packs tomorrow after work. Need another feeder thing for the frozen blocks. My sucker is nackerd so the fish just tip it and the whole cube goes under and it's just a mess!

Having to stand over the sank wafting it arround in my fingers in a pain

Just the usual ones mate. I let it defrost in a dish then add it with a tea spoon. Most of it has gone by the time it hits the substrate.

hahah, just as I posted it I went to show my misses what you put but you already changed it!

I still have the tank, but it's empty and not running any more sadly . I closed all my tanks down when I moved out only recently started back up again now I have my own place.

I will be setting it back up though at some point, same shrimp tank I loved it! Yes they was non-stop breeding lol. They don't go over the top because of space, but as soon as I took loads out and put them in another tank they would be females with eggs days later. Why you thinking of getting some?
