Where do Tiger barbs prefer to sleep?

I bought 6 tiger barbs last 3 weeks ago and it is with my 4" GT (green terror) in my 75 gallons tank. I have no problem with them, so I bought 4 more 2 days ago. I notice that the following morning one was missing and then this morning another one is missing. I think my GT is eating them. So I wonder why did my GT did not attack my barbs when they were only 6? What decor can I put so that my barbs will be able to sleep without the GT seeing them?

I would think about rehoming the green terror and just have a tiger barb tank.

If you want peaceful community fish, get rid of the green terror. They are called green terror for a reason, they are aggressive and unpleasant natured fish that kill things.
Tiger barbs should not be kept with green terror cichlids and neither should anything else.
